Some of these new plans launched by Airtel yesterday were available earlier as well, but have been now launched under a new marketing campaign. Apart from this Airtel also launched many plans and revised the Plan 399 again.
India Government-owned telecom operator BSNL has launched a new plan for Rs 429 - offering unlimited voice calls and 1 GB data per day for 90 days for its prepaid mobile users. Similarly, the free calls are limited to 250 minutes per day, after which the same 10 paisa per minute, and 30 paisa per minute tariffs are levied for calls to Airtel and other networks, respectively. Further, Rs 40 plan will give users talk time of Rs 35 with unlimited validity.
Rs 60 plan will get you Rs 58 worth of talk time with unlimited validity.
Bharti Airtel has become the first operator in India to break the 2GB-per-day cap under its daily data plans, offering up to 5GB per day under its various plans. Another plan in the same range of Rs 8 will give users local and STD mobile calls at 30 paise/minute for duration of 54 days. Rs 399 plan offers 1 GB data per day at 4G speed along with unlimited local and STD calls. Over that, Airtel is also giving 28GB of data with 1GB of daily FUP limit for 28 days. There is, however, no cap on daily data usage in this plan. There are no other voice calling incentives in this data-only pack. The Rs 87 plan is a bonus card.
