India's spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal (3-43) and Kuldeep Yadav (2-20) shared five wickets between them to restrict Sri Lanka to just under the 175-mark.

On the tour of Sri Lanka, the Indian batsmen are looking at a great rhythm.

Virat Kohli, on the other hand, has inspired young Indian cricketers to step up their fitness game and be match fit for every game.

India needed 10 runs to win when Kohli eventually fell in the penultimate over and Pandey sealed victory with a boundary which also brought up his fifty. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka have made a few changes to their original T20 squad after suffering the 5-0 whitewash.

In the T20, Sri Lanka will play for the first time in the captaincy of their new captain, Upul Tharanga. It compounded a humiliating three-nil defeat in their three-match Test series on home soil.
