The demo itself is time-limited and will run from October 9 through October 12, with PlayStation Plus members getting a head start on pre-loading beginning October 7 at 8:00am Pacific and playing on October 9 at 12:00am Pacific. The non PlayStation Plus peasants will have to wait until October 9 at 2PM Central to download the demo. The demo is set to last through October 12 at 8AM PT.
The demo seems pretty generous, too, with Gran Turismo Sport's three main modes featured as well as a slice of its livery editor.More news: Negotiations with 'little rocket man' waste of time
Well, this is all mighty exciting - we're just over a week away from Polyphony Digital's debut on PlayStation 4 with Gran Turismo Sport. "At the end of each qualifying session, it's an all-out battle against other drivers with similar performance abilities ensuring each race is equal, fair, and highly competitive". Sport is all about competing for the fastest lap time, while Campaign features various challenges and missions. Finally, Arcade in the demo will feature lots of vehicles to try on three contrasting circuits, which can be enjoyed in 2-player split screen.
We'll be checking out the demo, and we'd love to hear what you think about it. Stay tuned next week for more Gran Turismo Sport coverage and make sure to chime in on Facebook and Twitter to let us know what you think! For completing each trial, you'll get multiple rewards such as in-game currency, experience points, and even new vehicles.
Lastly, the beta will include a Livery Editor which allows you to add personal touches to numerous logo designs, colors of the auto, wheels, mirrors etc.
