Google has announced two new Google Assistant devices, the Google Home Mini and the Google Home Max.

The smart speaker market got a bit more interesting when Google revealed its Amazon Echo rival, Google Home, early a year ago.

This speaker has a 40mm driver for 360-degree sound and supports Bluetooth and dual band Wi-Fi. The device comes out in three color variants - Coral, Chalk and Charcoal.

You can connect Home Mini to any Chromecast enabled speaker wirelessly. The dome-shaped speaker is priced at $49 (approximately Rs 3,200) and goes for pre-orders today in all Google Home countries, which basically means it is not coming to India.

The Google Home Max comes with a detachable magnetic stand that allows you to orient it in both landscape and portrait modes, so you'll be able to place it just about anywhere in your house. Speaking of children: Google has also partnered with Disney and other studios and game companies to bring voice-based games and experiences to these devices.

First up is Google Home Mini, which looks like a squashed Google Home. With the Google Home Mini though, you can put one in your most active rooms for $200 or less, and it won't even stand out due to its size.

Google's Home Mini will retail for Dollars $49 and can be pre-ordered today with a full release scheduled for October 19th.

Rumors were already there regarding the Google Home Mini, now it has been officially unveiled at Hardware Event 2017 in San Francisco. Google will offer 12 months of ad-free YouTube music subscription with the purchase of the Home Max. Moreover, the hands free calling feature, which was introduced earlier in the United States is coming to the United Kingdom later this year. Using artificial intelligence and machine learning, Google claims the speaker can automatically adjust its output to its surroundings in a matter of seconds.
