The skins include the handful which leaked over the weekend-Satanic Symmetra, Vampyric Mei, and Cthulhu Zenyatta. While there are a lot of great new skins on offer, the fandom has already been freaking out over Symmetra's Halloween skin that depicts her as a dragon.
We have to say that the new skins and items for Halloween this year are looking pretty awesome, so do check it out in the launch trailer above. Expand your collection of seasonal-themed items and relive a chilling tale in our PvE brawl: "Junkenstein's Revenge".
There are more than 50 new skins that you can access on the game this coming Halloween. As we remember from a year ago the Junkenstein PvE mode was set in the area before the castle's gate so the changes made now must mean something.
You can still get your hands on last year's gear from Halloween Terror, if you so desire. Collect all the poses, voice lines, emotes, sprays, and more, which are all up for grabs in the new loot boxes.More news: Roger Federer surprised by Rafael Nadal's China Open win
Based on the previous history of returning Overwatch events like the Summer Games 2017 event, we can be fairly sure that Legendary Skins from the Halloween Terror event from back in 2016 will make a return in loot boxes for the 2017 event.
That's compared to 3,000 credits for the brand new skins available for the likes of McCree and Reaper.
"Team up with three other players and face off against a host of eerie enemies, including Dr. Junkenstein himself, Junkenstein's Monster, the Reaper, a mysterious witch, and host of shambling zomnics", reads last year's Halloween Terror blog post.
"Now Junkenstein plans his revenge against the Lord of Adlersbrunn, and only four heroes stand in the way".
Stay tuned for more info about the event throughout the day.
