On Monday, they walked out of jail, moments after Rajesh Talwar's brother Dinesh Talwar and their lawyers Manoj Sisodia & Tanveer Ahmed Mir reached Dasna Jail.
Dentist couple Nupur and Rajesh Talwar, who have been acquitted in a case pertaining to the murder of their only child Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj in 2008, were released from Dasna jail in Uttar Pradesh on Monday evening after four years.
Rajesh and Nupur Talwar are likely to go to Nupur's father's home in Noida's Jalvayu Vihar, the complex they lived in when their daughter Aarushi was murdered/ Aarushi and the Talwars' domestic help Hemraj were found dead at their home in L-32, Jalvayu Vihar, in May 2008.
Speaking to ANI, Maurya said, "They both got the information through news that they have been acquitted".
However, the couple has assured the jail authorities to return to the prison's dental clinic every fortnight to attend to the jail inmates who need dental treatment.More news: Rooney saves Everton and Koeman at Brighton; Saints draw
"We were concerned about the fate of our dental department after their release".
The Jailor also informed that the couple would continue to visit the Dasna jail periodically so that the medical assistance could continue.
Aarushi Talwar, 14, was found murdered in her room in Noida and the missing servant Hemraj, 45, was initially suspected to be the killer. They are very happy and said that they have got justice. The family's domestic help Hemraj was suspected until his decomposing body was discovered the next day on the rooftop of the apartment building.
After the conviction by a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in 2013, parents of Aarushi, Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar, had appealed to Allahabad High Court.
The highlights of the high court judgement were read out in the court with further reports trickling into media, fueling speculations over the Talwar couple's release.
