Evans went ballistic on Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore after Winston poked the back of Lattimore's helmet as Lattimore walked along Tampa Bay's sideline.

No players were ejected on the play, but Tampa Bay was assessed a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness on Evans.

The Saints lead the Buccaneers 30-3 in the third quarter.

Evans only managed 1 receptions for 13 yards on Sunday, bringing him to 40 receptions, 532 yards and 4 touchdowns on the year. "It was very childish", Evans said after the game.

Mike Evans will be suspended for Week 10 after shoving New Orleans defensive back Marshon Lattimore from behind. When the Saints cornerback turned around to confront Winston, Evans came sprinting in to lay a brutal blindside hit on Lattimore.

"I know it went to NY to look at", Payton said.

Koetter did not see the play live but after watching the play on tape he said that Evans and possibly Winston should have been ejected.

"I thought Mike said the right things after the game and I'm sure Jameis will take his responsibility next time he gets a chance". Then Evans flew in for the tackle. But he can appeal the suspension within three days. I want to help my team. That was kind of malicious. "I should have just shoved him away to try to break it up".
