Nantucket Chief of Police William Pittman said he will not comment on or confirm any investigation regarding Spacey or any other possible sexual assault investigation citing MA law regarding victim privacy.
Heather Unruh, a former news anchor for Boston's WCVB-TV, has accused actor Kevin Spacey of sexually assaulting her son at a restaurant in Nantucket in 2016. She said that her "star-struck, straight" son, "who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator or that he was about to become his next victim", had met Spacey at the Club Car restaurant.
Gay Talese had no sympathy for the more than a dozen men who have accused Kevin Spacey of sexual harassment and assault. "There was no consent". The incident happened on the MA island of Nantucket, she said, when her son was 18.
Unruh said her son did not report Spacey immediately because of "embarrassment and fear".
"Whether he was over 21 or not, Kevin Spacey had no right to sexually assault him".
Unruh claims the assault happened at a bar in Nantucket and that Spacey "stuck his hand down my son's trousers and grabbed his genitals". "Your actions are criminal". Spacey is also an executive producer on the series.
"Reports of sexual assaults are confidential under [state law]", the spokesman says. "Time the dominoes fell", she wrote.More news: David Luiz fears Conte is punishing him for Costa friendship
The firestorm started with the accusation of actor Anthony Rapp, who alleged that he was harassed by Spacey when he was only 14 while the actor was 26. She paid particular attention to the allegations against Spacey and sent two tweets in mid- and late October that explained why.
"The #weinsteinscandal has emboldened me- #truth time".
"Does Gay Talese not realize that Kevin Spacey's victims have 'sucked it up" for decades, '" one person tweeted.
"I applaud your courage Actor Anthony Rapp @albinokid".
The television and movie-streaming service Netflix put an abrupt end to its relationship with Spacey, cutting him from the hit political drama "House of Cards", among other projects, as accusations against the actor have begun to mount.
Since then, other allegations have surfaced and the Oscar-winning star said he is seeking "evaluation and treatment".
