Oh Dear! OnePlus 5T Review Kit Leaked

OnePlus 5T is scheduled to launch in November 16 in India and to go on "Early Access" sales in the country from November 21.

OnePlus 5T, the Chinese smartphone maker's upcoming smartphone, has had a constant presence on the web, be it through leaks or official discussions by the CEO. Since the display is bigger and the body frame is similar to OnePlus 5, the fingerprint sensor has moved from front to back. Not just the basic ones but the entire list of specifications through the official box packaging is out, and now you know what to expect from the device.

We knew it, and it happened eventually.

Display. In keeping with OnePlus's tradition of using lower-resolution displays to improve battery life, the 6-inch OnePlus 5T AMOLED display will offer a resolution of 2160 x 1080. The screen is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a pixel density of 401ppi, being virtually identical to its predecessor in this regard.

At launch, the OnePlus 5T comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

The OnePlus 5T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and Adreno 540 GPU with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. It will also be available in 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM model and 64/128GB UFS 2.1 storage options. In other terms, these specs are the best now available in the market, confirming that OnePlus is continuing to use the best internals available in the market.

On the camera front the phone will feature a primary camera of 16MP wide-angle + 20MP tele-photo system with a dual LED flash and support for 4K recording. Meanwhile, the front comes with a 16MP (Sony IMX 371) f/2.0 selfie shooter. The user interface of the default Camera app was also redesigned in an effort to become more streamlined and facilitate one-handed use, according to the source, though no screenshots of the actual UI have been provided.

Well known vlogger and unboxed, Karl Conrad receieved a OnePlus 5T reviewer pack in the mail and apparently no one told him he was under an embargo (or it was unclear) as he has revealed the phone on his YouTube channel.

The video shows the new design of the 5T next to the OnePlus 5 and the refreshed design is a stunner. However, if the prices are not increased, then it should cost Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB/64GB version and Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB/128GB version. Like the OnePlus 5, the 5T will include an Alert Slider and Dash Charge fast-charging.
