We also know that there will be new "raid activities" even though Bungie has been very scarce on details. "Learn about the places you'll go, the characters you'll meet, and the enemies you'll fight", said Bungie in its description of the show. The Lighthouse will be the new social space on Mercury. With all the talk coming out of the studio lately, carefully using the terms "new raid activity" or "new raid content", it was easy to come to the conclusion that there would not, in fact, be a new raid with the launch of the first expansion, Curse of Osiris.
As expected the DLC's story-based mode features the time-twisting Vex, and of course, the fabled Guardian called Osiris. Players who purchased the expansion pass will have access to Curse of Osiris as well as the unnamed second expansion slated to release next Spring. The normal Leviathan raid will also be raised up to to a higher power levels and both the original, and the new lair version, will have new armor, weapons and cosmetics for players to collect. Previously set at 305, the new Light level has been confirmed to raise to 330.
They are calling Eater of Worlds a "raid lair".
"I think players are ultimately going to see a wide variety of story channels, an eclectic number of outlets to see story infused throughout the game; top to bottom, soup to nuts".
The most exciting bit is the addition of a new type of Raid experience.
