On Apple Music, Drake's "More Life" was the top album of the year and Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" was the top song. In line with their observation, even on Google, the most popular app in 2016 and 2017, has been a photo editing app, focused on selfies. Unsurprisingly, Super Mario Run leads Apple's list of USA best-selling mobile games after prevailing in Google's contest for the most downloaded new Android game of the year too.
The Best iPhone App and Game are the meditation app Calm and the puzzle game Splitter Critters.
