While I have mixed feelings on the first Jurassic World, audiences whole-heartedly embraced the film - it grossed $1.6 billion worldwide. Thanks to this huge success, a sequel was undoubtedly coming.
Legendary/Universal have promised the release of the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer this Thursday, but in the meantime, they've been drip-feeding us with tantalizing teaser trailer tidbits. It is being penned by Colin Trevorrow, who co-wrote and directed the first Jurassic World. This 15 sec clip reminds the glimpse of the previous parts, in the clip Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) seen yelling at Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) & The young scientist to run.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to roam in the theaters on June 22, 2018. In the video, his character can be seen testifying in what looks like a courtroom and he delivers this hilarious meta-dialogue, "Here I am, talking about dinosaurs again". So it appears that it is up to Owen and Claire to rescue these dinosaurs. The issue at hand could be what to do with dinosaurs moving forward and Malcolm has been called upon as an expert witness. Also highlighted here is the film's use of animatronics. No, it looks like the dinosaurs themselves are the ones in danger.
