A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for Hillsborough County and surrounding areas starting 11 a.m. on December 9 until 3 p.m. December 10. Benji's snowfall is slowing down in Texas Friday morning and moving toward the Gulf Coast and the Mid-Atlantic. Bethany Beach has seen an accumulation of 2.3 inches, while Bridgeville and Seaford have 1.9 inches on the ground.

Snow squalls were reported in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi. North Carolina got about one foot of snow. Southern New Hampshire was expected to see some snow early Saturday afternoon. Central and southern DE and Maryland and southern New Jersey, south of I-195 and east of 1-95, will be the hardest hit, according to the National Weather Service. Winter storm watches (blue) and winter weather advisories (purple) are in effect in parts of Upstate New York this weekend.

A hard freeze is likely on Saturday morning for north of the lake. Light snow was predicted for the South Coast of MA, and Cape Cod and the Islands were even expected to get some wet snow before it changes over to rain.
