The 5 biggest Nintendo Switch games announced in today's Nintendo Direct

Nintendo announced at a new Nintendo Direct several cool video games coming to the Switch console.

YS VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is an epic RPG that was previously released on PS4, but will come to the Switch this summer.

Mario Tennis Aces smashes onto Nintendo Switch sometime this Spring. Matches will challenge your ability to read an opponent's position and stroke to determine what shot will give you an advantage and add a bit more authenticity to the sporting experience. It's a third-person action game that forces players to carefully choose every action, lest they die over and over (and over and over) at the hands of even the most mundane enemies.

So you'll have touchscreen controls available for navigating the menus while in portable mode, but can also use the Joy-Cons for standard gameplay.

As the name suggests, this is an updated version of the action role-playing game classic. Players will encounter new enemies such as Sorceress Cia, but some familiar enemies like Bokoblins and Lizalfos from The Legend of Zelda series will also appear in the game. Dark Souls Remastered is coming to the Switch. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze arrives on Switch on May 4. Both games originally came out for the Nintendo Wii U back in 2014.
