Meghan Markle was the centre of attention as she gave her first official speech as a royal-to-be on Thursday (Feb. 1). Even though she's pregnant with her third child, she's been appearing at more royal engagements and is even looks more eager to meet her fans in public. The publication also pointed out that Markle will also be cracking a couple of jokes during her speech.
Looks like former Suits star Meghan Markle is taking her previous TV role to heart off-screen.
The ceremony tonight "celebrate the achievements of wounded, injured and sick servicemen, and women who have taken part in remarkable sporting and adventure challenges", the royal Twitter wrote.
"It's natural for people to be like, 'Oh that's Prince Harry's girlfriend, ' but she's a lot more as well", Priyanka Chopra, one of Markle's best friends, told Harper's Bazaar Arabia in a recent interview. Unfortunately, Queen Elizabeth is not a hundred percent on board as Meghan is not yet married to Harry. The 36-year-old wore an Alexander McQueen pantsuit for the event.
Most notably, she played Rachel Zane in U.S. legal drama, Suits, from 2011, until she quit the show in January.More news: Assassin's Creed Origins Adding New Game Plus Mode
As the American beauty was introduced, she announced: "I'm truly privileged to be here", and revealed the category for the second award before handing the reins back to Neil Heritage, last year's award victor. The royal-to-be wore cropped, black cigarette pants paired with a tuxedo shirt by designer Alexander McQueen.
Looking chic and sophisticated, we love how both made a stunning fashion statement in their own ways, without overshadowing each other.
Harry and his brother William helped present the awards past year and it is likely the prince and the United States actress will perform the same role tonight.
"Oh my gosh", she said laughing.
