A Denmark, South Carolina native and University of Miami student was surprised with a $50,000 scholarship from Canadian rapper Drake this week.

She shared a photo of herself next to Drake along with a lengthy caption expressing her gratitude on her Facebook page as she wrote: 'Drake told me that he has read great things about me and appreciates how hard I've worked through so many trials and made a decision to give me $50K for my tuition. She assumed no more scholarships would come but was offered to do a video discussing her background and the importance of scholarships. Now, he's following it up with a $50,000 check to a University of Miami student.

"He donated $25,000 and he donated OVO school uniforms", Vall said. A drone equipped with a camera circles the crane, capturing Drake and the crowd behind him.
