The Egypt global has enjoyed a meteoric rise since his £34m arrival at Anfield at the start of the season, having bagged 28 goals in all competitions, including 20 in the Premier League.

"I want to concentrate on my team and finish the season very well".

"I didn't play for Chelsea when I was here three years ago".

Salah was a key player during his time at Roma and he had a great role with the club in his last season, scoring 15 goals in 31 league appearances, according to BBC.

After Liverpool missed out on Salah in 2014 and Chelsea picked him up, the Egyptian only played 19 games in total for the Blues over a two-year period as Jose Mourinho's defensive footballing philosophy meant he didn't get much of a look in.

In quotes that other football supporters will jokingly state are similar to those uttered by Robbie Keane upon his switch to Anfield, Salah told FourFourTwo magazine of his "love" for Liverpool and revealed he had been a fan of theirs since he was a little boy. I had two good seasons there.

The contract that he signed and the position Liverpool are in with Coutinho just going, they can't afford to let another big name player go.

"But at the end of the day I think it's a bit different than Coutinho".

This is the 25-year-old's second spell in English football after being forced to a bit-part role at Chelsea before Roma bought him.

Salah added, "I'm happy scoring goals for the club I supported as a kid - that's all that matters". We want to push ourselves to win something.
