Cavaliers deal guard Dwyane Wade back to Heat

NBA trade deadline Cavaliers trade Dwyane Wade back to Heat report says

The experiment that was"Peanut Butter and Jelly 2017-18 has come to an end as Dwyane Wade reportedly is on his way back

But the last two years have been a time of transition for Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade, especially on Thursday.

Wade signed with the Cavs in September after working out a buyout with the Chicago Bulls.

Miami Police, Miami Beach Police and Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez all tweeted about Wade's return to the Heat. The Cavaliers pulled off some major trades, which included sending Derrick Rose, Iman Shumpert, Jae Crowder, Isaiah Thomas and Channing Fry all over the National Basketball Association to bring back some young guards in Jordan Clarkson, George Hill and Rodney Hood.

Wojnarowski said the Heat will send a heavily protected second-round pick to Cleveland in exchange.

This is an especially interesting move considering the close personal relationship between Wade and LeBron James. On the floor, losing Wade won't move the needle much for Cleveland.

In effect, Wade was offered a two-year, $40 million contract from the Heat in 2016. "I don't know how it will be, but I would love it".

Wade is finally going home. "His family is there", Anthony said. "For real? I thought he was joking". It's not a foreign situation to him. He's won there before. Still it seems clear there will be room for Wade to contribute to the team as they push for the playoffs this season.

With the Heat playing good basketball, it'll be interesting to see what kind of role Wade plays for the team. This, despite reports of tension between James and the front office.

Wade returning to South Florida to presumably end his career wearing his true colors is, just as Carmelo Anthony said, only right.
