Hamlin announced past year that she plans to retire after the PyeongChang Olympics. A tweet posted to the account of Davis is blasting the selection of luge athlete Hamlin as the USA flagbearer for the opening ceremony at the Pyeongchang Games.
Hamlin added: "It is definitely a privilege and honour to be the one to lead the team and will be a very special moment".
