Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with FullView Display launched in India, price starts at Rs. 9999

Xiaomi is set to launch a new product, in fact, a couple of new products, in India today. We're expecting the Mi Max 3 will be unveiled alongside the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro that was recently announced in India. The company rose to fame with the Redmi Note 4 which went on to become the bestselling smartphone in India. Well, in a true Xiaomi tradition, it costs $220 for the basic model, and $265 for the one with 6GB RAM, but be prepared to add at least 30% to that tally when importing, or if the phones launch in markets further west after their official February 22 release date. The device has been launched with a starting price of Rs. 9,999. The company is calling it Mi LED Smart TV 4 in India.

Question: How much RAM and internal storage come with the Redmi Note 5? . Specs-wise, there is 2 GB RAM and 8 GB storage while the system is powered by 64-bit quad-core CPU. Once again the Fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.

The Redmi Note 5 (Flipkart/Xiaomi) is priced at Rs 9999 (3GB/32GB) and Rs 11999 (4GB/64GB). Xiaomi has launched Redmi 5 Plus in China with a 18:9 display, which is 5.99-inches in size.

The dual SIM 4G VoLTE phone carries a 4000 mAh battery as well and is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB one and Rs 16,999 for the 6GB variant. Under the hood is the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform with custom Kryo 260 cores. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera with LED flash.

The primary camera on the Redmi Note 5 is a single camera setup at 12-megapixels.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is loaded with PatchWall, a customized OS for TV that integrates the functionality of the set-top box with the user interface of the TV. All the dots lead to the Mi TV 4, which is being teased by Xiaomi as well, on social media websites. Xiaomi claims this is the world's thinnest LED TV, though the stand design means you won't be able to place it flush against a wall. For immersive sound experience, Mi TV 4 comes equipped with support for Dolby Audio and dts-HD.
