Avengers: Infinity War' scores second best weekend 2 ever

Star Wars: "The Force Awakens holds the prize for biggest second weekend, with a mighty $149 million in 2015".

Internationally, Infinity War amassed another $162.6 million, thanks in part to a record breaking $17.6 million opening in Russian Federation, bringing the film's worldwide total to $713.3 million - with China still to come later this month.

Next weekend sees the arrival of Life of the Party starring Melissa McCarthy and the thriller Breaking In starring Gabrielle Union.

The latest juggernaut from Disney/Marvel studios took in an estimated $112.47 million over the weekend, according to boxofficepro.com, on over 4,400 screens.
