Destiny 2 Warmind DLC Available Tomorrow, File Size Revealed

Destiny 2's Warmind trailer is cool and chill and other synonyms for cold

The newest expansion, called Warmind, brings some fresh new content to Destiny 2, adding on a new Raid Lair known as the Spire of Stars, a new ritual activity called Escalation Protocol, new weapons, and much more. In order to access the Warmind content, you must purchase the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass, which grants access to both Curse of Osiris and Warmind, or purchase Warmind separately. In addition, a new Raid Lair called Spire of Stars is coming to Destiny 2 alongside the expansion's release as well as changes to the Crucible.

Those playing on PS4 will, as in the past, get more content than Xbox One and PC players for a period of time.

We would like to point out that the new Raid Lair Spire of Stars, included in the DLC of Warmind (and available only for those who own the expansion), will be playable only from 10 am PT, 1 pm ET, 6 pm United Kingdom on Friday 11 May.

Destiny 2's publisher Activision is teasing a new game mode that's set to be released in a fall update.

“Since the launch of Destiny, we have played alongside and seen our amazingly passionate fans help evolve our universe. Working with Bungie, they've brought a new mode in the form of Escalation Protocol. With Warmind, we want to show we are actively listening to the global community and that we are also committed to respecting players' time in game.

Bungie explains more: "Escalation Protocol is a public, player-triggered event where players fight escalating waves of enemies and slay challenging bosses alongside their Fireteam and other courageous Guardians on Mars".

"Vicarious Visions is proud to be a part of this franchise as fans, and now as developers", said Jennifer Oneal, studio head for Vicarious Visions. As a timed-exclusive, PlayStation 4 players can acquire loot from a Strike called The Insight Terminus.

Bungie has been trying to improve Destiny 2 since it began to lose players.
