In case you'd any doubt in your mind about the fate of everyone at the end of 'Avengers: Infinity War', Tom Holland accidentally on objective let slip the title of the 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' sequel on his Instagram yesterday. Tonight on his Instagram (spotted by Nerdist contributor Rosie Knight), he doesn't even say anything spoilery, so much as show what is apparently his copy of the next Spider-Man film's script, and, well... He also reveals that he is confused at how a sequel would work, since (spoiler alert) Spider-Man dies in Avengers: Infinity War. Homecoming star shared the title of his upcoming solo superhero sequel in a short Instagram video.
The follow up to Spider-Man: Homecoming, which many have been calling Homecoming II, will actually be called: Spider-Man: Far from Home. Previously Holland has committed many such blunders including the one where he nearly revealed the climax of Avengers: Infinity War.
Actor Tom Holland, best known for his role as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), revealed the title of the upcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. "I wanted to apologize because there's no real revelations coming out this weekend about Spider-Man 2", he continued.
"I knew I was gonna die when I filmed my death scene, genius", Holland joked.More news: Paul McCartney's Carpool Karaoke Leaves James Corden In Tears
Sony Pictures is reportedly developing a Spider-Man spinoff movie starring Marvel's Silk. That spider bit Peter and granted him the unbelievable abilities that made him Spider-Man, but before it died, it also bit Cindy.
Jon Watts will return to direct the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is now set to hit theaters on July 5, 2019.
