Grayson Allen and Trae Young haven't turned in headline-grabbing performances during the NBA Summer League, but that doesn't mean they aren't grabbing headlines.

Despite shooting three of twelve from the field and missing both of his attempts from three-point range, Trent managed to grab four rebounds, dish out two assists, and block one shot.

The two did not face each other in college last season, as Oklahoma was eliminated in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Young tried to wrestle free but Grayson wouln't let up, resulting in the Atlanta Hawks guard shoving his right arm into Allen's lower back. He was the No. 8 overall pick in last year's draft and figures to serve as a building block alongside Knox and give Knicks fans something to cheer for while Kristaps Porzingis recovers from a torn ACL.

Trent Jr. also showed great strides on the defensive end, guarding the lethal and unsafe guards of the Atlanta Hawks such as No. 5 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft Trae Young, Jaylen Morris, and Jaylen Adams. That should be cute, but the only showdown that matters occurred on Thursday night during an NBA Summer League game, of all places.

All 30 NMA teams are taking part in the Summer League this year for the first time.
