The company on Thursday announced the revamped 13- and 15-inch laptops which start at $1,799 and reach a whopping $6,699 for the most tricked out model.

"The latest generation MacBook Pro is the fastest and most powerful notebook we've ever made", said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing, in a statement.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar upgrades its processor from dual-core CPUs to eighth generation, quad-core i5 and i7 models.

The 15-inch model can also handle up to 32GB of memory, and up to 4TB of solid-state storage and has superior graphics capabilities. Originally featured on the iPad Pro, True Tone provides a more natural viewing experience as it adjusts the screen's white balance according to your ambient lighting. The new models ship with up to 32 GB RAM, a redesigned keyboard, new processors, and more.

Apple has refreshed its MacBook Pro with Touch Bar range of laptops, offering increased specifications - but in doing so has finally retired the last of its Pro range to have the traditional keyboard and additional ports. Previously MacBook Pro users had to press a button to trigger Siri. The 15-inch variant, in particular, is aimed at pros as it is now available with up to 4TB storage, 32GB RAM, and a Core i7 or i9 processor featuring 6 physical cores. The 13-inch sleeve can be bought here and the 15-inch sleeve can be had here. As far as ports are concerned, the new MacBooks will retain the four Thunderbolt USB Type-C ports along with a 3.5mm audio jack.

You'd have to go to the MacBook Pro's page to discover it, but the Blackmagic eGPU is there, and it's labeled as "only at Apple."
This means Apple partnered with Blackmagic for this specific model. That's $2,400 more than the best 2017 MacBook Pro you could buy.

As ever there are two new models that are going to hit shop shelves, a 15-inch MacBook Pro and a 13-inch model.
