Pep: Hart’s future uncertain, will play in preseason

Pep Guardiola Looking For Solution For Joe Hart

Joe Hart: Manchester City keeper looking for permanent move after two loans

Hart featured in City's pre-season match against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, but the chances of him playing regularly in competitive fixtures are limited as he is the club's third-choice goalkeeper behind Ederson and Claudio Bravo.

Joe Hart has confirmed he intends to cut ties with Manchester City in the coming weeks.

Sancho left Manchester for Dortmund last summer after reportedly having concerns over his path from City's youth setup into the first team, and he showed why the Bundesliga giants paid a reported £8 million for his services. Starting goalkeeper Ederson is not on the roster for the U.S. preseason tour, having returned from participation in the 2018 World Cup with Brazil, although he didn't play as he served as Alisson's backup.

Dortmund boss Lucien Favre acknowledged the England Under-19 worldwide had "exceptional potential", and the 18-year-old is eager to improve even further and repay his manager's faith next season.

He joined City from Shrewsbury in 2006 and made 300 appearances.

"We spoke while we worked in this one week and the courage, intensity and desire to play was very good".

"It will be a good experience for them [the young players] to realise they can compete [at senior level] and play well".

"It was nice to see my old team-mates", he said.

"I need to be an important player at that club and I think that can only happen with a permanent move".

"I just wanted the team to do well", he said.

"The players are making a lot of runs with the ball, which is something I appreciate a lot".

Both teams fielded their youngest players in order to give them global experience and exposure before the next league season. "I know I've got an very bad lot to give in the game". We can not forget what we've done but we start again. I'm so satisfied with the guys.

The Premier League champions seemed to be nearly invincible last season, picking up an unprecedented 100 points and finishing 19 points ahead of nearest rivals Manchester United in table. I know I've got an terrible lot to give in the game.
